He is a second child of 2 brothers. He has one older brother and one younger brother. He rose by a nicely Indonesian family. He is class of 1990, in that time he doesn't have money to go to college or university so he decided to working on MC Donald's for awhile. Finally after he got the money from his works, he studied in Academy of Radio and Television by his raising money. He continues study at Jakarta Institute of art at 1995 and graduated at 2001.

He is known as a Director of photography, He had begun working since 1996 as an assistant of DOP and assistant lecture in film schools. In the beginning of 1998 he officially works as a DOP.

He is now known as a Lecture and Teacher of Cinematography, Directing Movie, Arts Directing, Drawing of story board, Basic of Photography, Basic of Videography in 5 different film schools which is in Jakarta Institute of Art, University of Pasundan Bandung, KPU Yayasan Citra Usmar Ismail, Cyber Media College Jakarta, Digital Studio College.

He also a speaker for film workshop in Sampoerna Documentary Bandung at 2000 and for the University Muhammadyah Malang, Indonesia at 2004.

In the beginning of 2003, he concentrated with his screen writing name "Mixstory". After he finished his screen writing at 2005, he continues to make a book about "The making of films" until now.

He is an editor film, graduated from Jakarta Institute of Art at 2000. He's now helping a lot of production house with their editing offline and online. He's now Assistant Head of Film School at Jakarta Institute of Arts.

He is a Lecture and Teacher of 6 majors in 5 film schools. The major is a History of Film, an Editing Film, a Technique of Director, Audio Sound in Film, a Photography Class, and Analysis Film. 5 Film schools such as Jakarta Institute of Art, University of Pasundan Bandung, KPU Yayasan Citra Usmar Ismail, Cyber Media College Jakarta, Next Academy Film Jakarta. He is a mentor and a speaker of Film Workshops.

He is an emissary for Indonesian Filmmaker that sent to Asia Filmmaker Committee. He's now vice president of Film Department in Indonesia. He's planning to go to Master of Arts in Solo, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia in the beginning of 2008.

He is known by Head of Researching Film Department in Indonesia, graduated from Jakarta Institute of Art at 2001. Begun working since 2000 as a Teacher and Lecturer of Film History, Visual Workshop, Film Art and Film Theory, World Film History and Film Classics.

He is the one of Jakarta Institute of Arts Alumni that concentrating in teaching and consulting of Film Theory in Indonesia. He had been helping a lot of Film Treatment in many production houses.
